The Juvenile Corrections officer at
C.O.P.S. Northwest provides information pertaining to youths who have curfews, geographical
restrictions or warrants to volunteers who call and introduce themselves as
calling from juvenile court to check on the youth's curfew.
They ask to speak with the youth and tell them their
corrections officer will be informed of their compliance.
If the youth is
not home, the volunteer documents the information and forwards it to the
corrections officer.
