School Watch

School Watch is a program designed to increase the safety of our children both before and after school.  The main goal of School Watch is to provide adult supervision in the areas heavily trafficked before and after school  (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.)

School watch is intended to help decrease arguments between the children and to help ensure safety to the children as they walk home.

Citizens interested in participating in this program need to become C.O.P.S. or N.O.P. volunteers.  They work closely with the volunteers and citizens to make this program a success.  It is our experience that adult supervision will help decrease many of the problems as kids come and go from school  This is just a small investment of your time, but the reward and added peace of mind is priceless!
