Donation Opportunities

Spokane C.O.P.S. has for years contracted to the city of Spokane for $205,000 to run 12 C.O.P.S. substations and support three staff.  For 2011, the City Council had to decrease our budget to $180,500.  We have tighten our budget belt considerably and stretched it to the max. 

Since Spokane C.O.P.S. is a 501C3, non-profit, we rely heavily on donations, grants and fundraising.  Finding appropriate grants has been extremely challenging.  We have had several fundraisers and have received some donations that have helped C.O.P.S. through 2011.  

For 2012, we are hoping the community will continue to support C.O.P.S. and their substations through donations and fundraising.
